Paris, October 19th, 2019 – H.R.H. Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Calabria and Palermo, together with T.R.H. Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke and Duchess of Castro and her sister H.R.H. Princess Maria Chiara of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Capri and Noto, participated in the royal marriage between H.I.H. Prince Jean-Christophe Napoléon Bonaparte and Countess Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg at the Invalides Cathedral in Paris. During the wedding of the great-grandson of Napoleon Bonaparte, son of H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Maria Carolina participated as a witness.
“Witnessing a true love story was a unique experience” – the young Princess declared – “I am particularly attached to my cousin Jean-Christophe, he is also my godfather; there is a great affection and sympathy between us“.
Jean-Christophe and Olympia made their vows during an imperial ceremony, in the presence of many European royal families, including Princess Beatrice of York.
